It's amazing isn't it? I often wonder how many of us know from the first smile that we are glancing at the person we are going to spend the rest of our lives with. No matter how you reached this point, the important thing is that you have arrived! We love engagement shoots because you can be as creative as you'd like with your props, ideas, and locations.

I love older movies because when you watched them, you felt as if you were really watching a story unfold without the special effects and obvious camera angles. You would simply get lost in the magic of it all. That is the same approach I take with engagement shoots. I like to create the scene, but let the engaged couple tell their own story by naturally allowing their feelings and love for one another to unfold. It's amazing how many memorable photos I capture with genuine laughter by simply creating an awkward moment and a ready finger on my camera button!
